Weekly Fraud Alert: Rental listings lead to ID theft
If it’s too good to be true, it probably is.  More would-be renters are reporting that scammers are listing rental properties on Craigslist at extremely attractive prices, then using rental applications submitted by interested parties to steal the applicants’ identities.

Norbert's footnote: Yes, we do use Craigslist. And yes, we've seen the ad's and have actually had our listings "stolen" with false repostings. Best advice, call us & reverify the information!
